Specifications of Clark Forklifts
Kinds
Pneumatic trucks, cushion trucks and narrow aisles are only amongst the various types of forklift trucks manufactured by Clark. The different kinds vary in terms of the way they run. Like for example, heavy-duty forklifts utilized for construction and agriculture are powered by an internal combustion or IC engine. Narrow aisle types designed to be used inside warehouses and other confined spaces are powered by rechargeable battery.
Lifting Capacity
The lifting capacity of Clark forklift trucks differs based on the type. Forklifts which are battery-powered have a range from 1100-3000 kilograms, that depends on the model. For a greater capacity range, the internal combustion or IC models are suggested. They can lift from 1400-8000 kilograms.
Engine
Clark electrically-powered forklift trucks run on AC battery cells, either 48 volt or 36 volt. The internal combustion or IC engine models have 52 to 100 horsepower engines. The IC or Internal Combustion kinds have automatic transmission with three-speed, two-speed and single-speed kinds.
Frame/Cab
The frame/cab assembly is in the center of the forklift and consists of overhead protective cover for the operator, the seat and controls. The frame consist of the engine, fuel tank, trans-axle, wheels and transmission.
